SUMMARY:Motomarathon 2023
DESCRIPTION:    The details for October’s Central New England Motomarathon. The ride dates are October 2-5\, 2023. Monday through Thursday. Motomarathon were able to secure a ski lodge in the town of Chittenden\, VT. Chittenden is located between Rutland and Killington.  For those looking for more formal accommodations\, they have also secured alternate lodging at a Best Western\, which is conveniently located only four miles away from the lodge\, in Rutland\, VT. As always\, riders are welcome to find accommodations anywhere they would like.     Due to the unique situation of having the lodge\, and to help keep costs down\, they are offering a package deal for this event. This includes the registration fee\, lodging for five nights\, Sunday afternoon thru Friday morning\, as well as an informal welcome barbecue Sunday evening. Dinner for four nights\, a continental breakfast\, Monday thru Friday\, and a barbecue lunch. Total cost is $550. If you are staying elsewhere\, the standard registration fee is $100.       The lodge is similar to a hostel. It has eleven bunk rooms\, a finished third floor with additional beds\, a commercial kitchen\, a huge barn out back with a pool table\, foosball table\, and a TV Room. They will work to keep friends in the same room\, and also try to avoid using the top bunks. You are required to bring your own towel\, pillow\, and sleeping bag or linens.     They have to limit the riders staying at the lodge to forty\, to avoid overcrowding. They anticipate this will fill up quickly\, so if you plan on staying at the lodge\, please register ASAP.  If you have any questions\, please contact them directly via email\, or cell.  There will be a mandatory riders meeting at 7:00 PM\, Sunday\, October 1\, at the ski lodge. Routes will be handed out at that time for Monday’s ride.
